  • Technology-based company within any of the following categories: Clean Technology, Life Sciences, Applied Technologies and Fintech.
  • Interested in developing business and open to having investors in the company.
  • Sufficient resources (human and economic) to attend the Investors Forum (Madrid, 28th November) in case your company is selected.

What is the Investors Forum?

Investors Forum by MIT Enterprise Forum Spain is Spain’s most prominent forum of investment in applied technologies. It will gather Spain’s top 50 technological projects in seed and pre-seed stages, in the shape of meetings with a selection of 20 renowned national and international investors.

When and where will it take place?

The Investors Forum 2018 will take place on November 28, 2018 at the BBVA Innovation Centre, in Madrid (Spain).

What will the Investors Forum be like on the field?

The Investors Forum will be a private event, in the shape of a series of “speed-dating” meetings between the entrepreneurs and the investors of 7 min duration each (strictly timed), after which a bell will ring and the entrepreneurs will immediately have to leave their seats and proceed to the next ones assigned to them. The meetings will take place around a tall round-shaped table. You will be able to bring any documents or equipment you consider convenient.

Who will be the investors?

A selection of national and international specialist investors in active investment stages. You must be ready to present your company in English to foreign investors.

What areas of activity should applicant startups be based on?

In this edition, Investors Forum is seeking startups focused on

  • Applied Technologies related to industrial processes
  • Applied Technologies related with human and animal health
  • Cleantech and Energy
  • Fintech

6. What are the requirements to apply?

Startups must generally meet the following requirements to apply:

  • To fall within one of the four activity areas mentioned in Q5
  • To be interested in developing their business and open to having investors in the company

87,5% of investors consider Entrepreneurs selection as "Excellent" or "Very good" related to time to market.

62,5 % of investors has considered start-ups selected as "Excellent" or "Very good" in relation with their technological excellence.

77 % of entrepreneurs consider Investors Forum has accomplished in an excellent way their expectations and investors have a clear will to participate again.
